People and Character Illustrations ( Artist Dr Ponce )

Dr Ponce first came around through his graffiti styled illustrations and then he further developed into a style that represent the rough underground style of life in a simplified version through shape and bright bold colours. The main thing that is appealing to his style of illustration is how he can use a dark and seriouse image and make it look child friendly with a quick glance.

Here is a illustration that he has created as i said previously that his work represents the underground life of society but by the way that he presents it through the shaping of the characters and colours used in the characters and background it still has a element of a childrens illustration because of its simplicity. I think that he has used the shape tool from either photoshop or illustrator to create these illustrations and then used the softwares to add the text and colour to them aswell.
