Digital manipulation ( Artist Christopher Lovell )

Christopher Lovell is a well known artist in the horror genre and he uses this style of illustration mainly for band . The art work he creates is very unique and each piece of his art work is connected by a background story that he has created, he also does his own interpretations of movies, games and t.v show characters.
What I like about his work is how it consistent he is to creating such detailed and graphic images without losing his own style in each illustration.
The way he works is by creating the illustration by hand rendering it and then he works more in depth with it on a editing software such as Photoshop or Illustrator.

Here he has illustrated some sort of demonic monster and this is my favourite illustration that he has created and this is because of how the detail works well and makes the image pop out of the the screen and how hes positioned the creature it really shows how hes standing up but theirs something looking down on him. I also like how he ddoesn'thave to use bright colours to help make a image stand out. The way i think he has created this is by hand rendering the image and then making enhancements to it digitally.
